The St. Joseph School Advisory Council was established to advise and provide objective, strategic guidance to the Principal of St. Joseph School and Pastor of St. Joseph’s Church. The Council meets approximately six times per year and is primarily focused on these areas:
The Council functions as a consultative and advisory body, and Members cannot act or make decisions independently from the Principal or Pastor. The Council welcomes feedback from the SJS Community. Officers of the Council can be contacted at the following email address: [email protected].

COUNCIL MEMBERS
The Council is chartered to have twelve (12) Nominated Members, preferably from the following representations: three (3) parents of students currently enrolled in PreK through 2nd grade, three (3) parents of students in 3rd grade or above, three (3) current faculty or staff of the School, three (3) who are either a Church parishioner, school alum, or parent of an alum. The term length for Nominated Members is two years. In addition, the Council has six (6) Ex-Officio Members: the School Principal, Church Pastor, Church Financial Director, the school staff member responsible for Admissions and Communications, a member of the School’s Faith Committee, and the President of the St. Joseph School Foundation.
All Council Members are volunteers.
