School Districts are required by NY State Law to provide transportation to non-public school students who reside within 15 miles of the school. Click here to see the NY State Dept. of Education Policy on this issue.

Note that the 15 miles criteria covers inter-district transportation. For example, the Fairport School District provides transportation to SJS students who live in Fairport, even though SJS is in the Penfield School district.
Bus service is provided by the public school district where the parents reside. The service must be requested by April 1 of the previous year. Schedules are found in the district publication in August. If there are any scheduling problems, please call your district transportation office.
Please note that any change to your child’s regular default dismissal procedures requires you to update Pickup Patrol. A written note to the office is no longer needed. This must be done no later than 1:25 p.m. on the date of the change, but please try to update the app as early as possible with your changes. Any changes after 1:25 p.m. must be called into the office. Thank you!
The Fairport CSD requires a special bus form. Please fill out the form below and submit it to Fairport CSD on or before April 1.
