PreK 3-- how special can they be! Their energy, their enthusiasm and their spontaneity is overwhelmingly contagious--so much so, that they are fun to teach.
I, originally, hail from Buffalo, NY--go Sabres! I received a BS degree in Business Education from Rosary Hill College and taught in Buffalo for two years before Xerox moved us to Webster. I continued on and completed my Masters Degree in Education at Nazareth College.
St. Joe's has played a very big part in our lives. Our son and daughter graduated from here. I, myself, had an awesome attachment to the school. I enjoyed being a room parent, lunch mom, library aide, field trip chaperone and substitute teacher all while they attended here.
Eventually, I returned to teaching full time. I was the Co-ordinator/PreSchool teacher at St. Margaret Mary's in Irondequoit for 15 years. After they closed, I had the opportunity to return to my children's roots. This is my fourth year as the PreK 3 teacher. I am extremely thankful that I have this opportunity. Working with this age group can have its challenges, but it, also, has many rewards and seriously, it is just plain fun!
