Maria Ludington teaches computer skills at St. Joseph School. Her education began with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Mathematics from the State University College at Buffalo, and continued with a Masters of Science Degree in Education from SUNY Geneseo.
Teaching for a total of 28 years, Mrs. Ludington has maintained the computer curriculum at St. Joseph’s for 18 years. Before moving to the computer lab in school, she taught sixth grade with former grade partner, Mrs. Ward. Prior to that, she was the middle school math teacher for the seventh, eighth, and ninth graders at SJS. One of Mrs. Ludington's favorite things about teaching techonology is that she is able to work with all the grade levels at our school.
Mrs. Ludington lives in Webster with her family. Married to husband, Mark for 24 years, they have two children, Claire and Matthew. Their daughter, Claire is a sophomore at Nazareth College studying speech therapy, and their son, Matthew, is in first grade this year.
Outside of school, Mrs. Ludington loves spending time with family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys . gardening. She also enjoys shopping, cooking and going for long walks.
