Originally from Connecticut, I received a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Connecticut State University, and an M.S. in Elementary Education and Music from the University of Connecticut. During my Master’s Degree program I was fortunate to be a Graduate Assistant and play in a String Quartet, and Orchestra while studying for my Degree.
Teaching experiences include Pre-school, instrumental Strings, and General Music. I started violin beginning in 4th grade and studied through College. I also studied at the Hart School of Music in Hartford, Ct. and the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY.
I have been a member of the Penfield Symphony Orchestra for 15 years.
My husband and I have been members of St. Joseph’s Church for over 30 years and I have been teaching at St. Joseph’s School for 15 years. My husband grew up in Greece NY and graduated from Mother of Sorrows, and Cardinal Mooney High School.
I have three grown children. My oldest daughter is currently the High School Orchestra Director at Victor High School. My son just graduated from Syracuse University Law School and works in Washington D.C., and my youngest daughter is currently working at St. John Fisher as the Assistant Cross Country/Track and Recruitment Coach. They are all musicians and we still love to get together and play music.
