Vincent Ercolamento has been an educator of music since 1985. He has spend the past fifteen years at St Joseph School, instructing the students in instrumental performance and leading the school band ensemble.
A graduate of Nazareth College, he recently started teaching there in the Community Education program. Recipient of a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to study abroad, he recognizes the value of continuing education and has pursued independent study at the Eastman School of Music.
Mr. Ercolamento is the author of his own method book for saxophone entitled The 3 T’s of Music and has performed on numerous professional recordings. He is well known to Rochester audiences as a regular soloist at the Rochester Jazz Festival in addition to many appearances throughout the area.
Mr. Ercolamento truly enjoys teaching the students at St. Joseph School, dedicated to making sure that the students enjoy music and achieve their highest musical goals. His students have pursued various opportunities to perform in and outside of school, including New York State Solo Festival, the Lilac Festival, and school plays and concerts.
